South East Asia

The most popular destinations are Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. Most of the countries have a colonial influence and the remnants of them are the best attractions to visit.
Starting off with Malaysia, the first place to visit is Kuala Lumpur, the capital city. It has a blend of Malay and colonial culture. Other attractions include the Petronas Towers, one of the tallest structures in the world along with the Kuala Lumpur Telecom Tower. There are several coastal towns and islands if you are looking for a beach retreat.
The rest of South East Asia is pretty much the same as far as attractions go. However, it is the food and the local culture and habits that make a country worth visiting. Usually, when a holiday to South East Asia is planned, it is done in the shopping seasons to get the best deals on electronics and furniture and so forth.
The region is a great place to visit and one can cover several countries in a go. However, advanced planning is needed to make sure it works out fine. Moreover, being vigilant all the time is essential to enjoy the trip and stay safe from crime.
