Check out the Canary Islands

If an island vacation is what you are looking for then you might want to consider a group of islands off the south-west coast of Spain.  These are the Canary Islands where you can enjoy mild temperatures most of the year. There is little chance of rain here so you are spend a lot of time on the white sand beaches that these islands are known for.

These islands are not far from each other but if you do some research, you will read that each one has its own personality.  Those who want to avoid the heat of the summer will visit in the spring time to enjoy the weather that is a bit cooler.  These are said to be subtropical islands because they are not far from the coast of Africa. La Palma is called the green island because of its lush countryside. The highest point on this island is a mountain range and the lowest is where great beaches are found. A telescope on the mountain peak is for anyone who wants to get a closer look at the stars.
