South Africa

Located at the tip of Africa, a true storehouse of nature’s best, South Africa has something for every type of tourist. Whether you are looking for adventure or leisure or just want to appreciate the local culture, everyone finds something that suits them. It is an ideal blend of modern metropolises like Cape Town and Durban but at the same time has some of the best wildlife reserves and sanctuaries in the world.

If you are just looking to take in the sights and spend a few days in the cities, Cape Town has some interesting tourist attractions, especially Table Mountain and the Waterfront. Moreover, there are several museums and other structures reminiscent of the colonial rule in the country. For those of you looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush, check out one of the many wildlife reserves, which offer safari rides into the jungle. There is a variety of animals to see, ranging from the common deer to the mighty lions of the forest. While you would have seen animals in zoos, plenty of times, witnessing them in a natural habitat is a whole other experience, memories of which will last a lifetime.

South Africa has a lot of local native culture that one can appreciate. There are museums dedicated to preserving such cultures and these are the best places to start off. While it is a great place to go on holiday, one must remember that crime is rather high in the cities and it is best to be alert at all times.
